Mary is the user experience designer and web designer for Vizias, consulting on several projects including the former Dell Technologies HPC Community, and The Austin Forum on Technology & Society. Mary has a background in business operations, having completed her bachelor’s from the University of Houston. After she earned her bachelor’s, she launched her professional journey at a startup in Los Angeles working in supply chain and project management.

Recognizing her passion for creativity and design, she sought admission to a user experience immersive program in 2020 and in the face of the initial pandemic challenges, directed her efforts toward building the High-Performance Computing community for Dell Technologies.

Mary strongly believes that design shapes the majority of the human experience, whether physical or virtual, and designers have a great responsibility to make the world a better place. In her free time, she enjoys working in set design and floral design.
